1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website attestationexpert.in and all associated services provided by AttestationExpert.in ("we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before placing any order.

2. Services Provided

We are a private facilitation service that assists individuals and organisations with document attestation processes, including:

• MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) attestation
• State HRD and university attestation
• Embassy attestation for foreign countries
• Apostille under the Hague Convention
• WES document verification facilitation
• Translation and notarisation coordination

3. Client Obligations

By using our services, you agree to:

• Submit only genuine, unaltered original documents
• Provide accurate personal information at the time of booking
• Inform us of your specific destination country and document purpose
• Not use our services for any fraudulent, illegal, or misrepresentative purpose
• Collect or accept delivery of your documents within 30 days of completion notification

4. Fees & Payment

Our fees are quoted upfront and include our service charge, government fees, and standard courier. Fees are payable in advance or as per agreed terms. We reserve the right to adjust quotes if document requirements change after initial assessment.

We accept bank transfer, UPI, and major debit/credit cards. All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways.

5. Timelines

Timelines quoted are estimates based on standard government processing times. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Government authority queues, closures, or policy changes
• Incomplete, incorrect, or unclear documents submitted by the client
• Force majeure events (strikes, natural disasters, public health emergencies)
• Courier or postal delays beyond our control

Express and urgent timelines are best-effort commitments subject to government authority availability.

6. Refund Policy

Before submission to government authority: Full refund of our service fee (government fees non-refundable if already paid).

After submission: Partial refund at our discretion, minus costs already incurred.

Rejection by authority due to document issues: We will re-submit at no additional service charge if the issue is within our control. If the document is fundamentally ineligible, a partial refund will be issued after deducting costs incurred.

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the relevant event.

7. Document Liability

We take every precaution in handling your original documents. In the event of loss or damage caused by us or our courier partners, we will:

• Cover costs for obtaining replacement documents (subject to a reasonable cap)
• Re-process the attestation at no additional service charge

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all documents and personal information submitted to us with strict confidentiality. Data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your documents or personal details with any unauthorised third party.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on attestationexpert.in — including text, graphics, logos, and guides — is the intellectual property of AttestationExpert.in. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify clients of material changes via email where possible.
